Get out and enjoy fall at Lockwood’s Pumpkin Fest, Saturdays and Sundays, October 7–29, 2017, plus Columbus Day, October 9, 2017 at Rockford Park District’s scenic Lockwood Park.

Hand-pick your pumpkins, ride a pony or a horse, enjoy homemade pumpkin bars, or make your own s’mores. Plus, enjoy games, a corn maze, the haunted corn crib, and more. Kids will love interacting with the horses and animals on our working farm. This event co-sponsored by Rasmussen College. Lockwood Park is located at 5201 Safford Rd, Rockford, IL. Lockwood’s Pumpkin Fest will feature a variety of low-fee activities as well as free activities and entertainment for kids and adults to enjoy. Lockwood Park provides visitors with a country-type experience.


The mission of Lockwood Park is to help people enjoy life through their connection to animals. The park programs provide a variety of experiences and learning opportunities to promote healthy, positive interactions between people and animals. Lockwood Park offers 15 miles of scenic trails for hiking, biking, or horseback riding.
