Learn to Play Sports Camp
Rockford Park District's summer Learn to Play Sports Camp provides children ages 5-11 of all skill levels an introduction to a variety of sports for recreation, plus the opportunity to learn important life skills such as respect, leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a safe and positive environment.
Each week, a multi-sampler of sports is introduced, with a focus on hockey and one other sport, with all equipment provided. Weekly Monday-Friday summer sessions are scheduled beginning June 10, 2019, and run through the week of August 12, 2019 at the Jr. IceHogs Off-Ice Training Facility, 312 N. Madison St., Rockford, and meet from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm, with an extended care option available for an additional fee.
The camp fee is $115 per session ($135 non-resident).
