Therapeutic Recreation Fall 2019 Program Guide
Rockford Park District's Therapeutic Recreation Fall 2019 Program Guide is available free of charge at Park District Customer Service, facilities, and downloadable online. The 32-page Guide contains program and activity descriptions and schedules for a variety of social, recreational, sports, arts, and fitness activities and programs for children, teens, and adults with disabilities.
Inclusion services are provided by well-trained and caring therapeutic recreation staff who assess and provide the appropriate level of support needed by each participant to have a successful experience.
Rockford Park District is a member of the Northlands Association for Special Recreation (NASR), a cooperative partnership with Belvidere and Freeport park districts, and information about upcoming NASR fall activities for ages eight through adult is also included in the Guide.
In addition, the Guide contains details about the Park District's automated installment payment plan option, and Help Me Play fee assistance program.
