Figure Skating Registration

Lessons

If your skater is looking to advance in the world of figure skating, we have a program for you! Our Junior Figure Skating program will focus on the necessary skills for our skaters to have the foundation to be successful. Youth and adult lessons available.

Skate School

The Rockford Park District’s Skating School provides high-quality instruction, recreational fun, and competitive opportunities. Develop your figure skating skills and gain confidence on the ice with the help of our coaches – all while socializing with other skaters. Skate School combines your Learn to Skate class (Sapphire Edge/Emerald Edge/Diamond Edge/Adult Edge), Figure Skating Power & Edge, and Off-Ice Edge on Saturday mornings for a discounted rate.

Open to both recreational skaters who wish to continue learning and competitive skaters training for U.S. Figure Skating organized events.

Youth and adult skate school programs are available.

Skill Enhancement

Our skill enhancement programs offer more intense training for figure skaters who want to improve their edge use, power, stamina, jumps, and spins. We also offer off-ice training that focuses on flexibility, strength, agility, balance, rotation, movement, and performance.
