Northern Illinois Girls Flag Football League wraps up its first season
The Guilford Vikings advanced to the state championship in high school girls flag football.
The Vikings finished in 4th place after losing the semi-final game, and the third place game in the first-ever Chicago Bears Girls Flag State Championship at Halas Hall Saturday, October 30, 2022.
Guilford High School participated in the first season of the Northern Illinois Girls Flag Football League in Rockford, along with teams from Auburn High School, East High School, Jefferson High School, and a co-op team.
The league was run by the Rockford Park District, and sponsored by the Chicago Bears and Nike.
