Sledding
When the snow falls, kids love to go sledding. You can do so in the Rockford Park District within designated areas at Twin Sister Hills Park.
Sledding is NOT ALLOWED at Aldeen Park or Sand Park.
Sled hills are open for public use daily from dawn to dusk.
Notice: The Rockford Park District has the authority to close any sledding hill depending on conditions.

Use sled hill at your own risk.
Users assume full responsibility for determining if the conditions are safe for sledding.
Parents/guardians are responsible for children â no supervision is provided.
Use caution when sledding and be considerate of others.
Sledding is permitted only in designated areas and on the side of hill designated for sledding.
Sledding is a hazardous activity and presents substantial risk.
