Each year, we report to you on our achievement of the goals and priorities established by the Rockford Park District Board of Commissioners to meet the needs of the citizens we serve. In 2025, the Rockford Park District updated its Priority Results and community-driven Strategic & Action Plan based on extensive public input and feedback. With a clear roadmap for the future, the Rockford Park District continues responding to the evolving economic, demographic, physical, and social-emotional challenges facing our community while balancing thoughtful planning with continued investment across the park system.  It’s more than just recreation. Rockford Park District parks, facilities, programs, and events do more than create places to play; they help drive economic vitality, support tourism, strengthen neighborhoods, attract workforce talent, and enhance quality of life across our region.
