Sports Factory hosts NJCAA Volleyball Tournament

Rockford Park District’s Sports Factory plays host to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All in Volleyball Opening Weekend Tournament (OWT) August 20-23, 2026.

OWT is the largest two-year college women’s volleyball tournament in the U.S. with teams comprised of athletes ages 18-21. The tournament welcomes 89 teams from 17 states, including Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Florida, and currently has a waitlist for additional teams.

OWT is celebrating is seventh year, six of which have been held in Rockford.

“We are thrilled to return to the Sports Factory for the seventh annual Opening Weekend Tournament, which has firmly established itself as the nation’s largest and most competitive two-year college women’s volleyball event. Over the past six years, we’ve witnessed incredible growth, expanding to host 89 college teams from 18 states, a testament to the caliber of play and the premier destination this event has become,” said Kyle McCall, Head Volleyball Coach at McHenry County College.
