Weekend Public Skating at Carlson Ice Arena

Frosty Fridays

Gather family or friends for some Friday night fun and healthy exercise at Rockford Park District's Carlson Ice Arena.

Frosty Fridays discounted indoor public ice skating sessions are scheduled every Friday from October 3, 2025 through May 1, 2026, from 7:00 until 9:00 pm.

Admission is $10.00 per person (all ages) including skate rental; no discount coupons accepted. The events also feature music by a DJ, and concession food specials for purchase.

Weekend Public Skating

Come out for family fun on the ice Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Carlson Ice Arena and ice skate to music under disco lights.

Regular admission rates apply. Food specials will be available at our concessions.

Skate & Play rental option gets you public skate admission, skate rental. and Sapora Playworld admission for $13.
