Investing in Your Neighborhood Park Update – 8-5-2024

It’s been a year since we met many residents that live around Hunter Park to hear about your wants and needs for your neighborhood park. We’ve been working hard to reduce our footprint, free up resources, renovate playgrounds, and update park amenities. Now it’s time to focus on Hunter Park playground, which is sooner than anticipated. With other playgrounds being renovated and a revised playground scoring system, Hunter Park playground is now at the top of the list due to age, usage, and condition.

Thank you to the many residents who came out to the park on Wednesday, July 31 to pick which playground pieces they liked best. Here are the winners thanks to votes at the park that night and online.
