All Aglow at Nicholas Conservatory

The community is invited to celebrate the holiday season by experiencing the annual All Aglow lights display at Rockford Park District’s Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens, 1354 N. 2nd St., Rockford, IL. This year’s presenting sponsor is Danfoss.

Add memories to holiday traditions by enjoying the thousands of sparkling holiday lights and festive floral displays inside the warm tropical conservatory as well as throughout the outdoor grounds, extending from Ethel Avenue into the Eclipse Lagoon area and the tea house gardens.

Lighting displays in the outdoor gardens will be lit from dusk to dawn daily. No tickets or reservations are required for free outdoor viewing; donations are always appreciated, and can be made on site or online.

The half-mile walk-through outdoor display features familiar favorites, light-wrapped trees and shrubs, as well as new surprises to discover. Overall, the outdoor grounds will have 300,000 lights, including many “glistening” lights, adding extra sparkle to the displays. The layout of the outdoor display accommodates a one-way traffic loop, with directional arrows posted throughout the grounds.

Regular fees apply for admission to the indoor Conservatory, and vary according to age and residency; reduced fees apply for children, youth, seniors, and veterans.
