Rockford Park District Fall/Winter 2024 Program Guide

Rockford Park District's Fall/Winter 2024/2025 Program Guide is available free of charge online, at Rockford Park District Customer Service locations (UW Health Sports Factory in downtown Rockford, and Carlson Ice Arena in Loves Park), and in limited quantities at many other Park District facilities.

Registration is open for lessons, camps, leagues, and more for area youth, adults, and families to enjoy. Information is included on lesson programs for horseback riding, ice skating, and hockey, as well as a variety of other outdoor and indoor recreation and sport activities, clinics, camps, and/or leagues for hockey, volleyball, indoor golf, soccer, youth basketball, NFL Flag Football, and Jr NBA Basketball and Jr NBA Cheer. Lewis Lemon Community Center teen evening program, and Washington Park Community Center after-school and school days out programs are also included.

Registrations are taken online and at Customer Service locations: UW Health Sports Factory, 305 S. Madison St. in downtown Rockford, IL, and Carlson Ice Arena, 4150 E. Riverside Blvd., Loves Park, IL.

Therapeutic Recreation Fall 2024 Program Guide

Rockford Park District's Therapeutic Recreation Fall 2024 Program Guide contains descriptions of programs and activities scheduled from September through December, 2024, featuring a wide variety of social, recreational, sports, fitness, arts, and leisure activities and programs for children, teens, and adults with disabilities.

Fall program registration is available online and in person at Customer Service locations: UW Health Sports Factory in downtown Rockford, and Carlson Ice Arena in Loves Park; registration forms are also included in the Guide.

Inclusion services are provided by well-trained and caring therapeutic recreation staff who assess and provide the appropriate level of support needed by each participant to have a successful experience.

Rockford Park District is a member of the Northlands Association for Special Recreation (NASR), a cooperative partnership with Belvidere and Freeport park districts, and information about NASR’s Fall Fun Day on September 21 2024 in Freeport, IL, for ages eight and older is included in the Guide.

The Guide also contains details about the Park District's automated installment payment plan option for qualifying programs, and about its Help Me Play fee assistance program for eligible residents.
