Sounds of Summer Performance Schedules

The 2024 Sounds of Summer performance schedule is underway at Sinnissippi Music Shell and Levings Unity Pavilion.

The Sounds of Summer series is comprised of Music in the Park at the Sinnissippi Music Shell in Sinnissippi Park, and Levings Showcase, which includes Live at Levings and Domingos En El Parque, at the Levings Unity Pavilion in Levings Park.

Outstanding performances featuring local, regional, and nation-wide musicians highlighting a variety of musical genres returns to the Sinnissippi Park Music Shell.

“This season, we are thrilled to bring you an eclectic mix of genres, from classical masterpieces to contemporary hits and real rock and roll, all promising a symphony of emotions and experiences. Whether you're a seasoned music enthusiast or a newcomer to the scene, there's something for everyone in this 2024 season. Music inspires, uplifts, and unites. Every beat tells a story, and every tune stirs the soul,” said David Spencer, Rockford Park District Operations Director.

This season there will be an expanded VIP section, new merchandise for purchase, and many first-time performances by several new artists who haven’t performed at the Sinnissippi Park Music Shell before.

Also new this season to Music in the Park is a Sinnissippi Rockstar Bundle. Guests can purchase general admission to all six Prime concerts for $30 and get an entry badge and commemorative decal.
