The District has awarded a construction contract to Rockford Structures. The renovation includes a new playground, splash pad, and picnic area with shade structure. Renderings of the splash pad and playground are shown below.

The playground construction has been completed, however, the splash pad construction is ongoing. The Rockford Park District plans to have a grand opening celebration in 2026.
